Solar Thermal Division For Wagner Solar UK

Warner Solar UK will soon see the launch of a new solar thermal division in the UK, which looks set to follow the same philosophy as the company’s solar PV division by offering their specifying service for their thermal products.

Growing demand across Britain for solar PV has been proven to be a direct response to the feed-in tariff scheme, and the company’s solar photovoltaic (PV) division has already built up a strong reputation for its specifying service, which involves their sales personnel to use the company’s bespoke software to calculate the right product and system configuration; a service which installers find particularly beneficial when it comes to choosing the right roof mounting solution.

Back in April, Wagner Solar opened the doors to its new UK based training centre. The Wagner Academy training programme is run by expert instructors, and provides product training directly to PV and solar thermal installers, in a bid to promote a better understanding of the latest products and installation techniques.

Wagner Solar UK’s thermal division is to be headed by Dan Oliver, who has been a member of the solar PV sales team.

“Solar heating is still an emerging industry in the UK, so we intend to apply our knowledge and help installers with the pre-installation calculations, so they can concentrate on the most important thing, which is getting the installations right,” said Oliver.
